Here are two pics of my boys on Xmas.

Wednesday, December 28, 2005

Well, I day has come and gone and Xmas has come and gone and finally I can get back on here.Insulation Day was LONG. It took us about 5.5 hours, start to finish, including clean up. And what a mess we made. The insulation was made from 85% recycled paper product, so we had bits of paper pulp everywhere. But we now have 15 inches of insulation int he attic. I can't wait to see the difference it makes. Just the new furnace alone has cut our therm usage by 40% over last December!!

Xmas was good. Lots of family, lots of presents.; It was too much for Ben and Connor though. They had too many options and not enough time to play with everything. It's getting better...a couple more days and they should be sick of all the new toys!

Eric is doing much better. The ortho said the elbow and ankle should both heal fine in time. Bev is also doing great and should be home from the hospital today.

Well that's it for now.

Well tomorrow is it...I Day...insulation day. After an hour sitting on my freezing cold roof last night (my ass wasn't warm again until this morning!), we have the last prep work done before we insulate the attic. Tomorrow should be a blast! All I have to say is after all the work we have done to prepare for this (and all the $$ we have spent) it better make a difference. I want it to be a sauna in my house. Well maybe not a sauna...

On a more serious note...tomorrow is Bev's quad by-pass...we wish her well. And Eric sees the ortho about his elbow and ankle...not sure you all know, but he got hit by a school bus while working Monday.

Ok, I'm out...half dday then LOTs of running to do in the PM.

I think I have this thing figured out. I set it up so all those I invited to be members can post. Mostly this will be a way to keep everyone up-to-date on kids, happenings, etc.

Feel free to add anything you'd like, just remember it'll be viewed by all.
Ok Gramp- I set up a blog...now I just have to find the time to actually post to it.

Sorry to cut our call short...Jeff was in the attic and needed me.
