Em- will you show me how to add links to other blogs...can't remember how.

Add Brownsey's, Decker's, Elana's, Shuey's if you want
My friend Cindy Dunaj got me thinking...she wonders if perhaps Ben put the car in Connor's diaper...kind of like a brother torture thing. It's quite possible. I'll have to keep an eye on Ben...he's trouble!

Nothing too new with my family...just wanted to write and say hello (to the people that stop in...does anyone?!?). We took Austin to his first movie this weekend. He loved it...well he loved the popcorn and soda at least! We went to see Hoodwinked...loosely based on Little Red Riding Hood. We went with our neighbors Jeff and Nadene. The main reason was the commercial...have you seen it? A tree falls between to turtles and one yells run...well you all know turtles move DAMN slow so it was pretty funny. Austin even laughed at the appropriate spots. Too cute!

And then there is Connor...He hasn't been sleeping well at night, and last night was just horrible. He was up every two hours AT LEAST. He didn't seem wet and I knew he wasn't hungary, so I would just give him his pacifier and put him back down.Well this morning I go to change his diaper, lights are dimmed and I see something. I tell Jeff to turn up the light and guess what I found?!? A matchbox car, IN HIS DIAPER!!! And not just any car, but a hotrod that has the decorative spiky engine things. Well no wonder the kid couldn't sleep! We had been at the Smith's last night and I guess he decided he liked the car so much he "smuggled" it home in his diaper!

What are we going to do with that kid :)

Ben is Ben...big brute, helper extroidinaire, cute as can be and a smarty pants!

Austin is progressing great, just wanted to share this message from his Special Ed teacher..."Austin was great today - he has matured since before Christmas - sat down and played 2 games with excellent turn taking and following directions - a lot of growth since we tried in mid-December. Take care,
Nancy"

How great to hear!

Wow, another year come and gone. Hard to believe! Not only that but Jeff and I have reached the 7 year mark. It was a good time though. We had dinner with the Smiths and friends at Longfellows and then went to the neighbors' house to party it up. Well as much partying as you can do and still get up at 6 am with the kids!

Sharon, Barbara, Jessica and Casey stayed with the kids and Cindy partied with us. A good time was had by all. Well except maybe Cindy who slept in Austin's toddler bed.

Happy New Year!
